Good to know

Do I need new hardware?

No. PourPoint.AI runs in a web browser on a computer or tablet you already have. A standard USB barcode scanner works for products and licenses.

What if my internet goes down?

The register keeps taking sales and saves them. They sync as soon as the connection is back.

Does it work outside New Jersey?

No. It's built around NJ ABC rules and the NJ Current Price Lists, and that focus is what makes it useful.

Can other stores see my prices?

No. Only product facts like barcode, size and brand are shared. Your prices, costs, stock and sales are private to your store.

Will it connect to my card terminal?

Today you record card payments taken on your terminal. Direct terminal integration is on the way. Ask about it on your demo.

Do I still need QuickBooks?

You don't have to. PourPoint.AI keeps double-entry books for you, with profit and loss, a balance sheet and a trial balance. If you already use QuickBooks, a direct connection is coming soon.

Can the AI change my prices or orders?

No. The AI can read your store's numbers to answer questions, but only you and your staff can change anything.

How do I get my items in?

Most barcodes are already in the shared catalog, so scanning an item fills it in. We'll help you load the rest when you sign up.
