Terms of Service
Last updated October 25, 2026
The short version
- PourPoint.AI is $50 per store per month. You can cancel any time, and your data stays yours.
- The POS helps you follow New Jersey's rules, but your store holds the license and stays responsible for following them.
- Check AI answers and reports before you act on them.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between PourPoint.AI ("we", "us") and the business that signs up ("you", "the store"). They cover the PourPoint.AI POS, back office, hosted store pages, API and integrations (together, "the service"). Whoever accepts these terms for a business confirms they may bind that business. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for your staff's accounts and for what is done with them. Give each person their own sign-in, and keep passwords, PINs and API keys private.
- Tell us right away if you think someone has gotten into your account.
- You must hold a valid New Jersey retail alcohol license for each store you run on the service.
3. Fees and payment
- The service costs $50 per store per month unless we agree otherwise in writing. Fees are billed monthly in advance and are not refundable for part of a month.
- Fees from other companies are separate, such as card processing, delivery app commissions, QuickBooks, ADP or a filing service.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing month after that.
- If a payment is more than 15 days late, we may pause the service after telling you. You can still sign in to download your data.
4. Your data
Your store's data belongs to you. You let us store and process it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time. You are responsible for having the right to record the information you put in, including your customers' and staff's details.
5. Compliance is yours
The service includes tools for New Jersey rules, such as Current Price List (CPL) checks, age verification prompts, invoice payment deadlines, sales tax returns and payroll figures. These tools help, but they are not legal, tax or accounting advice. You hold the license and remain responsible for:
- Checking every buyer's age and refusing sales the law forbids.
- Pricing at or above the legal minimum, and paying wholesalers on time.
- Filing and paying sales tax, payroll taxes and other returns correctly and on time, including checking figures the service prepares before you file.
- Following the rules of delivery apps and any other service you connect.
6. AI features
AI features can make mistakes. Read what they suggest before you act, and confirm any change the service asks you to approve. We are not responsible for a decision you make based only on an AI answer.
7. Connected services
You can connect services run by other companies, such as QuickBooks Online, ADP, Stripe, Uber Eats, DoorDash and your own apps through our API. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for those services, including when they change or stop working. When you connect one, you authorize us to send it the data that connection needs.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to sell to people under 21, to get into another store's data, to overload or attack the service, or to copy or resell it. API keys are for your store's own apps, and we may limit how often they are used to keep the service fast for everyone.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep the service running around the clock and to fix problems quickly, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. The register keeps working offline and syncs when the connection returns. Support is by email at [email protected].
10. Changes to the service
We improve the service often. We may change or remove features, but we won't remove a feature your store depends on for its day-to-day business without at least 30 days' notice.
11. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time. The service stays on until the end of the month you've paid for.
- We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or right away if you seriously break them or lose your license.
- After cancellation you have 90 days to download your data. After that we delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Warranty disclaimer
Apart from what these terms promise, the service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if warned they might happen. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply to fraud, or to what the law does not allow to be limited.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and cover us against claims by others that come from your store's sales, your breach of these terms, or your failure to follow alcohol, tax or employment law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
16. Governing law
New Jersey law governs these terms. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both sides agree to those courts.
